Cheap, and even FREE, dating ideas and locations!
21st June 2010
In today’s economy, we are all pinching our
pennies a little tighter than usual. However, we don’t want to let our date
know that we are either in a financial bind or running low on funds. Finding
places to take your date for free or cheap is a great way to save your wallet
from more hurting, but will also guarantee a good time. There is a variety of
dating ideas that you can use that will impress your date, and maybe even
yourself as well.
Pack a
lunch or picnic
Packing up a basket of sandwiches and heading
down to a lake or pond is a great way to spend time with your date without
breaking the bank. It creates a romantic ambiance that women will especially go
crazy over. Picnics are more personal and private than just heading out to a
restaurant and the effort you put into making the food and planning the
location will definitely impress the date you bring.
Stay in
and share a flick
Why not rent a movie and cool your date some
dinner. Cooking for a man or a woman is a sure fire way to get your foot in the
door. Even if you are just doing it to save cash, they will think it was simply
to impress them. When selecting a movie, try to get a movie they want rather
than one you would select just for yourself. Showing your date that you are
focuses on their needs could lead to even more dates. If you are not much of a
chef, ordering in is perfectly acceptable but doesn’t save you as much money.
Sporting
for the active date
If you and your date are very active you may want
to try hiking, walking, or even a mean game of Frisbee golf on your date. For
people who enjoy being active this will really impress them and show that you
also are into being active and staying in shape. Make sure that you and your
date are on similar levels though; you wouldn’t want to plan a 8 mile hike for
the occasional jogger. Start off with something small like a mile hike or good
game in the park and then work yourselves up to something even more active.
Feed
your soul and thirst for knowledge
Everyone is different; therefore you must plan
your date around their interests. If you have a more intuitive, soulful person
takes them to a local poetry or book reading in your area. You could even
volunteer together at a homeless shelter or children’s orphanage.
You have so many options for taking your date
out for a good time while saving money, as long as you look. The more time and
effort you put into planning your date, the more impressed he or she will be.
If they ask why you took them there, never say it was because of financial
constraints. Instead, insist you thought that they would truly enjoy it.
